Testing equipment for Concrete Quality Control

Abstract: The quality of concrete is crucial for
ensuring the safety and serviceability of concrete structures to serve the purpose for which they were designed. Testing of fresh, hardened and in-situ concrete as per standards is vital to ensure that concrete structures comply with specifications and relevant standards thereby ensuring the quality of concrete. Non Destructive Testing (NDT) of concrete is also critical for ensuring quality of in-situ concrete. A comprehensive range of concrete sampling and testing equipment to meet this requirement in accordance with international standards for both field and laboratory testing manufactured by ELE will be presented.

Green Concrete using VMCM Concrete Production

Abstract: The art of producing concrete by continuously blending ingredients in fixed proportions and dispensing in discrete quantities or by continuous flow has been in practice for
decades. The operation of mobile mixers  used to
produce concrete by volumetric measurement and continuous mixing (VMCM) will be presented. Because of its compact size, ability to produce mixed concrete, and versatility it can be used for
concrete pouring in remote desert areas effectively. A case study will be presented to show how VMCM has produced green concrete remote pours ensuring both quality and quantity.
